What do golf professionals do in the offseason if your course is covered with snow and the temperatures are below freezing? Some of us come down to Orlando, Fla., for four days to see what the latest and greatest new technologies are in the golf industry.

The 2008 PGA Merchandise Show began Thursday Jan. 17 and will run through Saturday, Jan. 19. The “Show,” as I like to call it, is 10 miles of show aisles and more than 500,000 square feet of interactive exhibition space.

The show is attended by thousands of PGA professionals and more than 1,250 leading golf marketing and manufacturing companies. There are 80 countries represented at the show and more than 45,000 golf-industry professionals.
