The Ritual
Brother Kyle hooked it up with the best meals, awesome accommodations, great nightlife and a lot of good times for my bachelor party in Vegas.
Favorite place to eat: Little Buddah at The Palms
Favorite place to hit the tables: Wynn
Favorite Club: TAO
Favorite hole at Bali High Golf Course: 16th. Kyle and I stole the keys from the other carts in our group and ditched the group!
Favorite place to stay: Sky Lofts at MGM. Cannot beat it!
Don’t expect too many details because most of them are rather foggy, and, you know, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Honestly, though, the stories most likely never stay in Vegas, but it’s fun to say!
The one thing I can say about Las Vegas is that the customer service is the best! I learned something in Vegas: Customer service is so good that you can lose a ton of money at the tables, spend money on a killer hotel room, buy exotic steaks and not care.
In Vegas, you can honestly get whatever you want. Perhaps a hair stylist up to your room, a case of 10-dollar beers, bags unpacked, dry cleaning in four hours, and the list goes on! Every bit of sensory experience that a person goes through is scripted to perfection. When at the hotel, you feel that nothing is impossible, and that everyone there wants you to be happy and successful.
I’ll tell you one thing that you won’t hear when you call a place in Vegas, “Huh, hello?!”
Still Working On The Bike…
OK, on to motorcycles. Check out the latest pictures. I think two weeks ago I mentioned that I would have pictures. Well, between the weather, the powder coating and my trip to Vegas, I just haven’t gotten around to it.
Luckily I have a few pictures here accounting the progress on the black Tiger. Click on them to see a full-sized view, and let me know what you think about them. In the pictures, you will notice a few things. There also are two things you won’t notice.
What you will notice:
1. Newly powder-coated black wheels. I should have taken a before-and-after shot.
2. Installed crash bars
3. Detached front wheel
What you won’t see:
1. A turn signal minder
2. Auxiliary outlet
So there it is. This weekend, I am taking my little guy to his first Supercross event down at the RCA Dome. It’s going to be awesome. If it’s nice enough, I may strap him down and roll on my Tiger.
Just kidding: I’m sure there are laws against trailing a 6-month-old on a motorcycle.
Anyways, as soon as the snow quits falling and the temp begins to rise, I will be back on the bike and bring this nonsense back to moto.
